Buxton Original Combo
I love the customer service! It was my first time there and they helped through the menu. I decided to go with the original Buxton chicken sandwich combo. When I got my chicken sandwich, I did not think it was going to be as big as it was. As I took my first bite into the Buxton original, the flavor that I was hit with was amazing. It was nice and hot; you know the hot where it does not burn your mouth hot but makes you feel nice and warm. the sauce pairs well with the chicken. the bread was nice and buttery. the fries where nicely fried and seasoned just right. the sweet tea was amazing. In all I will be back real soon!
Buxton Original Combo
The buttermilk fried chicken breast sandwich at this restaurant is nothing short of exceptional. The chicken is all natural and fried to golden perfection, with a crispy exterior that gives way to juicy and tender meat inside. The breading has just the right amount of seasoning, and the buttermilk marinade gives the chicken a tangy flavor that is both unique and satisfying. The sandwich is served on a toasted and buttered bun, which perfectly complements the chicken. The dill pickles add a refreshing crunch and tanginess that rounds out the flavors perfectly. Overall, this sandwich is a must-try for any fried chicken lover. The quality of the ingredients, the perfect execution of the frying process, and the thoughtful combination of flavors make this sandwich a five-star experience that I will crave time and time again

The very best fried chicken sandwich EVER! The flavors are indescribable, but will bring you back for more! Having tried most of them, you can't get one that isn't wonderful. You can taste the difference from the first bite and nothing else will satisfy you. Thanks for being so good!

Going back to the late 70's I've enjoyed chicken sandwiches from Virginia to Alaska to the Caribbean. None of them ascended to the heights achieved by the Original. The flavorful crispy exterior, the moist tender interior, the cool creaminess of the pimiento cheese, even the buttery softness of the bun announce themselves as mere players in an exquisite symphony of flavor and texture. Kudos to the owner/originator/cook. Bellissimo!

Chicken is so delicious and full of flavor. Great quality. I hate that the pickles aren't dill though!

Feeling blessed that this sandwich exists and that I can eat it again and again. Open Sunday!
